Downloading, installing and activating Feastudy 9 for PC

Note: We highly recommend that you print the text of this webpage to PDF and paper and keep the copies in safe places that you will remember. We also recommend that, for safekeeping, you print off the email that we sent to you that contains your program Activation Key(s).

To download and install Feastudy 9 for PC (Professional or Lite) in a Microsoft Windows 7, 8 or 10 environment, please use the following steps:

1. Click on this link: https://devfeas.com.au/downloads/F9/Feastudy9Setup.exe, and download the Feastudy 9 (for PC) Installer to a destination folder of your choice on your PC.
2. Ensure that you install Feastudy 9 under a Windows Administrator account, NOT under a Windows 'Standard' account.
3. Double-click on the downloaded installer file, Feastudy9Setup.exe, in File Explorer or Documents and follow the installation program's instructions.
4. When you open the installed application (it will initially be in demonstration mode), click the Help option of the program’s main menu, then the option, License Information, and then enter your Activation Key or one of your personal Activation Keys, as the case may be, into the Activation Key field of Feastudy 9’s Licensing Information window and click the Activate button to put the demo application into full licensed mode.

The installation of the program, inter alia: 

• creates a Feastudy folder for you to save new or open files there if you wish; and
• saves fifteen (15) demonstration files into a Demo Files subfolder of the Feastudy folder which is located at C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Feastudy\Demo Files folder on your PC. These files contain eight Development data files, one Consolidated Development file, four Investment files and two 'Develop-and-Hold' Investment demonstration files. You can inspect, edit and use all of these files in the Professional version of the program but only Development files can be opened, edited and used in the Lite version of the program.

For Feastudy 9 for PC, we have a system for maintenance and support services. As a result of your payment for your licensed program copy, you are entitled to use the copy in perpetuity on two PCs (that are capable of running the program) and one year’s Feastudy Maintenance and Support Services, which comprise: 

1. any updates of the Software which generally include any relevant corrections to but may contain some enhancements of the Software;
2. any upgrades of the Software which generally include enhancements of the Software; and
3. all reasonable operating and technical support for your use of the Software.

For an uninterrupted sequence of program updates, upgrades and support after your first year of being a licensed user of the program, you will need to keep paying a continuous annual fee. For the twelve month period of Maintenance and Support Services following the first twelve months after your program copy purchase, we propose to make the fee AUD$220 for each Activation Key for these services and we will annually review the amount of the annual fee after that. Thus if we were to develop and release a major upgrade of Feastudy 9 for PC two years after your purchase of a copy of the program, and you have continuously paid a relevant annual service fee (in a timely manner), you would pay no extra cost to upgrade to the new release. You are able to exit the Maintenance and Support Services arrangement at any time (after the first twelve months) and continue to use the program as a licensed user but you would not be entitled to receive any free updates and upgrades or program support of the program from the date of such exit until after you have paid, in advance, an appropriate reinstatement fee for the service to commence again and the annual Maintenance and Support Services fee that is current at that time.
